Real or Fake: CLS wagon
|
Remember this "CLS Wagon" pictured above, well I do. This image has made it on to virtually every car website, including BenzInsider, in the matter of hours. Nobody really knew what it was or where it came from, but almost everyone liked it. A lot people debated if it was a modified CLS, or an E-class wagon with a CLS front. The only thing that nobody could really answer was if it was real or, like we see a lot of, photoshopped. Now, I don't want to jump to any conclusions, but I will show you a couple of images below, and then you decide if the one above is real or not. These people that do this stuff are very talented and anything could be possible. I would like to hear what you guys think. The images below are from cwwcardesign.com

The first one is a e-class, there is a support on the roof. Also, look at the back end, it looks exactly like the e class. For the other ones, you have the photoshop and the original one below, so no question. My only concern is the picture with the back of the cls. It looks real.

wow that is some amazing photoshopping. First is probably real, but the other ones look real too. Good find.

second after the text look like it is real, rest is not. You raised a good point but I am not sure if the first one is fake, there are people that can do that stuff

Problem is the rear window on the black one is half the size of the rear window on the silver car. Have a look.

The virtual impressions are done by me, only the first picture ist real. It's a conversion done by Pogea Racing. Base car is a S211.

Hi Guys,
i am very impressed, that you thought, that our car is a fake. either we did a good job, or we messed it up! this was just the conversion of the car with serial parts. at the essen motorshow this year we present the "CASSIOPEIA" which will presented with lots of carbon fibre applications and own front bumper, side skirts, exhaust system...... just come over for some pictures and good conversation!!
