TopCar Modifies Mercedes-Benz S600 Guard

A Mercedes-Benz S600 Guard delivered into Russia was modified by the team TopCar team, according to a gtspirit.com report. The understated exterior design of the luxury vehicle was not touched by TopCar since it concentrated on its interior cabin.
The seats of the luxury vehicle featured crocodile leather while Nappa leather was integrated into the design. It can be recalled that crocodile leather was also used on a previous model of the luxury vehicle.The seats, transmission tunnel sides and floor mats also feature a number of diamond-shaped stitching.
The S600 Guard of Mercedes-Benz already features a VR9 level of protection. This indicates that the luxury vehicle offers a good amount of ballistic protection. It is the first production luxury vehicle to have gone through the best ballistic protection in the market.
The sturdiness of the Mercedes-Benz S600 Guard is ensured through the use of thick steel installed in all spaces between the outer skin and body structure. Splinter protection is also ensured with the installation of special aramide and PE components. The splinter protection also features an overlapping system along the critical areas to enhance the protection is offers. Although the luxury vehicle manufacturer did not reveal the thickness of the windows, it confirmed that the inner part of the windows feature polycarbonate coating to protect against splinters.
Aside from withstanding gun fire, the S600 Guard offers comprehensive protection against explosive devices. The underbody of the luxury vehicle features a special armor covering.
The S600 Guard comes with a V12 engine that is capable of producing 530HP of power along with a torque of 830 Nm. The luxury vehicle also features the 7G-Tronic automatic transmission. The maximum speed of the Mercedes Mercedes-Benz S600 Guard is limited to 130 mph.
