Mercedes GLA 45 AMG and S600 Maybach Coming Out on January
Giancarlo Perlas January 6, 2014News is currently going around that the Mercedes GLA 45 AMG and the S600 Maybach will be joining the fleet of new Mercedes C-Class cars which will make their debut at the North American International Auto Show this month.
Although no official confirmation from the part of Mercedes-Benz is out as of the moment, the Mercedes GLA 45 AMG is expected to have a sporty design complete with high-performance brakes according to the WorldCarFans website. Also, it will carry a 2.0 turbocharged engine capable of giving off as much as 360 hp and 331 lb-ft of torque.
Then, the engine of the Mercedes GLA 45 AMG will be connected to a seven-speed AMG SPEEDSHIFT dual-clutch transmission and AMG 4MATIC all-wheel drive system. Overall, these will provide the vehicle an acceleration of zero to 100 km/h in just a span of five seconds.
On the other hand, the S600 will apparently carry the Maybach name. Based on the same source, it will be an extra-long wheelbase car. Its length will likely be 18 feet long. The seating arrangement of the car will be 2 + 2 while it will be equipped with an engine which will provide an output of 585 hp. No other details are out about its other specs as of the moment.
