Mercedes-AMG S65 Cabriolet Details Revealed Plus Photos

Open top driving, stylish four-door design, luxurious interior plus a powerful engine, these are what the new Mercedes-AMG S65 Cabriolet has in store for customers. Recently, Daimler announced details about the new variant of the S-Class convertible and released photos of it.

According to the source, the AMG S65 Cabrio carries a 6.0-liter V12 biturbo engine. It is the latest addition of the brand to its portfolio of 12-cylinder models, joining the likes of the S65 Saloon, SL65 Roadster, G65, and S65 Coupe. The power unit provides the S65 Cabriolet an output of 630 hp and 1,000 Nm of torque. The numbers launch the car from zero to 100 km/h in just 4.1 seconds while its electronically-limited top speed can go up to 250 km/h.

Moreover, the performance of the AMG version of the S-Class Cabriolet gets a boost through its sport suspension based on Airmatic mated with AMG Speedshift Plus 7G-Tronic transmission, and improvements in its aerodynamic components such as new side skirts, air intakes, radiator grille, front splitter, diffuser, exhaust system.

Then everything is topped off by ceramic high-sheen multi-spoke wheels measuring 8.5 J x 20 and 9.5 J X 20 at the front and at the back, respectively. These are wrapped in 255/40 ZR 20 tires at the front, and 285/35 ZR 20 tires at the rear.

Inside, the occupants of the S65 convertible can sit comfortably with its designo Exclusive nappa leather sports seats with diamond stitchings. These are further enhanced by its electric adjustment, seat climatisation, and memory function. What’s more, its fabric soft top has a lining derived from Dinamica microfiber.

Going to the tech present in the car, it has the Pre-Safe Plus system, Distronic Plus with Steering Assist, Stop&Go Pilot, Brake Assist BAS Plus with Cross-Traffic Assist Plus, Collision Prevention Assist Plus, Active Blind Spot Assist, Active Lane Keeping Assist, LED Intelligent Lighting System, 360 degrees camera, Burmester 3D surround sound system, Keyless-Go package, as well as a head-up display and touchpad.
