Robust Powertrain

There are currently three trims of the Mercedes EQB slated for rollout in the first half of 2024 in the US. It starts with the EQB 250+ with a permanently-excited synchronous magnet motor (PSM) producing 188 hp and 284 lb-ft of torque. It has 70.5 kWh usable battery capacity and power consumption (WLTP) of 15.2 to 17.5 kWh/100 km, giving it an electric range of 436 to 536 km.

Next are the 300 4MATIC with 225 hp and 288 lb-ft of torque plus the 350 4MATIC with 288 hp and 384 lb-ft of torque. Both are available with PSM or asynchronous induction motor (ASM) with 70.5 kWh battery capacity. The setup allows a power consumption of 17.1 to 19.2 kWh/100 km and max range of 396 to 448 km.
