Before pitting them against each other, here’s a rundown on the key specifications of the competitors:
1. Mercedes-AMG GLC 63 S
The AMG GLC 63 S is equipped with a 4.0-liter twin-turbo V8 engine producing 510 hp and 700 Nm of torque. All its power goes to an all-wheel-drive system and is distributed via a nine-speed automatic transmission with launch control. It weighs 1,950 kg, and it is the most expensive of the bunch with a price tag of £93,400.
2. BMW X3M Competition
The Bimmer boasts a 3.0-liter twin-turbo straight-six setup with 510 hp and 650 Nm of torque going to an all-wheel-drive system and distributed by an eight-speed automatic transmission with launch control. Weighing at 2,010 kg, the German SUV is worth £84,765.
3. Alfa Romeo Stelvio
The Stelvio has the least engine displacement with its 2.9-liter twin-turbo V6 delivering 510 hp and 600 Nm of torque. The power goes to an all-wheel-drive system and is managed thru an eight-speed automatic gearbox with no launch control. The auto is the lightest and cheapest among the four with a weight of 1,830 kg and a price of £75,000.
4. Jaguar F-Pace SVR
Last but not least is the F-Pace SVR, which appears to have the best numbers compared to its rivals. It is fitted with a 5.0-liter supercharged V8 bringing its output to 550 hp and 700 Nm of torque. This one also has an all-wheel-drive system and eight-speed transmission but with no launch control. It is the heaviest among the four weighing 2,058 kg. The Jag costs £77,665.
