Mercedes-AMG GT 4-Door Coupe Edition 1 Offered for a Limited Time

The Mercedes-AMG GT 4-Door Coupe is finally arriving in September. To mark its entry into the market, an Edition 1 of the car will be available for a limited period.
The Edition 1 is available for the Mercedes-AMG GT 63 S 4MATIC+ trim of the high-performance car. Here are its key features:
Engine
According to Daimler, the changes in the Mercedes-AMG GT 4-Door Coupe Edition 1 are purely cosmetic. It retains its 4.0-liter biturbo V8 capable of delivering up to 639 hp and 900 Nm of torque. All its power goes to all four wheels, thanks to the 4MATIC all-wheel drive system. An AMG SPEEDSHIFT MCT 9G transmission manages the output of the vehicle.
As a result, the 0-100 km/h acceleration of the Mercedes-AMG GT 4-Door Coupe Edition 1 is at 3.2 seconds only. Then, its top speed is electronically-limited to 315 km/h.
Appearance
The exterior of the Mercedes-AMG GT 4-Door Coupe Edition 1 comes in graphite grey magno, diamond white bright or graphite grey metallic. The ones in grey magno and grey metallic are highlighted by graphite grey AMG sports stripes running across the sill panels. There are also sports stripes running over the hood, roof and tailgate of the car under the same color. It should be noted that these can be removed by the buyer though.
These are topped off by 21-inch AMG cross-spoke forged wheels. The wheels are in matt black with high-sheen finish.
Going inside reveals an upholstery in magma grey nappa leather. It is adorned with yellow stitching. There is the carbon fiber trim further highlighting the sporty appeal of the interior, too.
The other changes in the cabin of the four-door coupe include the AMG sports seats, yellow seat harnesses, armrests, lit door sill panels, Edition 1 badges, AMG #63 fragrancing, extra switches on the steering wheel as well as black chrome bezel in the steering wheel, shift paddles and controls.
Customers can further personalize their cars with AMG’s Night Package, Exterior Carbon-Fibre Package 2, ceramic braking system, and high-class rear seats.
Availability
The Edition 1 of the Mercedes-AMG GT 4-Door Coupe will only be offered to customers in 12 months starting from its launch date. The pricing of the product is yet to be revealed.
