Mercedes-Benz has already overtaken its whole 2015 sales in November this year. The period is the 45th consecutive month wherein the company displayed record sales.

According to the press release of Daimler, the sales of Mercedes in November amounted to 182,602 vehicles. The numbers show a 12.7 percent increase compared to the same month of last year.

The big contributors in the figures shown in November were the Mercedes-Benz E-Class Saloon and the Mercedes-Benz E-Class Estate models. However, the Mercedes-Benz C-Class remained as the most popular range of the brand during the period.

The source said around one million C-Class Saloons and Estate models have been delivered to customers globally since its current generation units came out in 2014. On the other hand, 26,915 E-Class Saloon and Estate models were delivered to buyers in November, which translates to a 38.6% rise in sales.

The Mercedes-Benz GLC had a strong performance in the luxury SUV segment of the company. The brand sold 61,266 units of the vehicle in November with a record of 17.5% increase in sales.

From January up to November 2016, the three-pointed star marque already sold 1,893,619 vehicles. Compared to the recorded sales of Mercedes in the whole 2015, the numbers are 11.8% higher.

Expect the momentum to be carried over this December. Ola Källenius, Member of the Board of Management of Daimler AG responsible for Mercedes-Benz Cars Marketing & Sales, said 2016 is another record year for the company in sales.

The report added that Mercedes-Benz was identified as the leading premium brand in nine countries. Based on new-car registrations, the brand led the race in Germany, France, Switzerland, USA, Canada, Austria, Japan, Taiwan and Mexico.
