Peter Parcon November 28, 2015A good number of industry watchers agree on the fact that the Mercedes-AMG GT is a sports car luxury enthusiasts would not want to put in any more enhancements. However, the product of HG Motorsports may be considered as a standard for anyone who may want to consider modifying the AMG GT.
While these modifications can be considered light, it did enhance a number of important features of the sports car, as shown on a report from motorward.com. The exterior of the HG Motorsports-enhanced AMG GT appears to be untouched other than the Edition 1 aero kit provided by the tuning specialist along with a notable set of HRE wheels. The engine was also given a light power upgrade.
The tuning specialist gave the AMG GT a set of light gold-colored wheels measuring 20 inches in front and 21 inches at the back. A set of KW suspension system complete with bump stops, height-adjustable KW springs and dust protection complement the wheels provided by HG Motorsports. The ride height of the HG Motorsports-tuned Mercedes-AMG GT can be adjusted up to 20 millimeters.
The AMG GT also received an exhaust system with downpipes and a brand-new engine control unit featuring high-performance software. This enhancement increased the power output of the Mercedes-AMG GT by 60 HP while its new top speed is now at 308 km/h.
