Renntech Provides Mercedes-Benz S63 AMG Coupe With 701 HP Of Power
Peter Parcon March 30, 2015Despite the impressiveness of the Mercedes-Benz S63 AMG Coupe, a number of tuning companies have made their own modifications on the luxury vehicle to give it their own distinct style. One of these tuners is Renntech, which basically increased the power of the S63 AMG Coupe and turned it into a mini-monster, as indicated through a gtspirit.com report.
The 5.5-liter bi-turbo V8 engine of this notable product of the luxury vehicle manufacturer from Germany is already capable of producing 577 HP of power at 5500 rpm along with a torque of 664 lb-ft. With these figures, any luxury vehicle enthusiast would definitely not say that the S63 AMG Coupe lacks power. However, the aftermarket tuner was not contented with the standard performance offered by the luxury vehicle. Similar to other tuning companies, Renntech released a rather impressive power upgrade package for the S63 AMG Coupe.
For this particular upgrade, Renntech opted to enhance the matte grey Mercedes-Benz S63 AMG Coupe of the ADV.1 Wheels founder. An ECU upgrade was installed by Renntech into the luxury vehicle. While the ECU modifications were considered simple by industry watchers, it was able to increase its power output to 701HP at 5000 RPM.
The enhancements were not limited to the power output of the engine since the tuning company also provided the Mercedes-Benz S63 AMG Coupe with a new set of ADV15R Track Spec CS wheels with the front measuring 22×9.5 and the rear at 22×11.5.
