Posaidon Unleashes the Beast Within the Mercedes G63 AMG

The Posaidon Mercedes G63 AMG kit brings the output of the vehicle to another level.

The Mercedes G63 AMG is already powerful in its straight-from-the-factory form. However, Posaidon released a tuning kit for the vehicle for those who want more out of it.

The package offered by Posaidon for the G63 AMG consists of a series of mechanical upgrades that could awaken the inner potentials of the beast within the auto.

The Engine Upgrades

The Posaidon kit centers on the 5.5-liter biturbo V8 engine of the G-Class AMG. Basically, it transforms the standard 544 hp and 760 Nm torque of the vehicle to 830 hp and 1350 Nm torque. The enhancement allows it to increase its zero to 100 km/h acceleration from the original 5.4 seconds to a mere 4.2 seconds. Its top speed is also raised to reach up to 265 km/h.

The upgrades were made possible by equipping the auto with modified turbochargers, plus reconfigured intercoolers and new intake system. The exhaust system has been enhanced too in order to manage the backpressure and temperature of the engine.

Furthermore, the 7G-Tronic automatic transmission of the unit has been personalized as well as the engine control unit (ECU) to ensure the reliability in its performance.
