Cool-Looking Chrome Wrapped Oakley Design Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG Spotted

The Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG is an impressive vehicle offering at least 583 HP of power through its 6.2-liter V8 engine. It also features a seven-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission along with a rear-wheel drive system. Aside from its performance, this supercar from the Germany-based luxury vehicle manufacturer also has an aggressive appearance that has impressed a number of luxury vehicle enthusiasts in the past.

Although the SLS AMG is set to be replaced soon, it did not stop a tuning company to enhance the outer appearance of the luxury supercar. An SLS AMG was spotted recently wrapped in chrome, as indicated on a report from motorward.com. Chrome is not normally used to wrap luxury vehicles even though it brightens up any place it visits. The main reason for this is the fact that drivers using chrome-wrapped cars are considered as show-offs.

However, it was not the same case with the luxury supercar from Mercedes–Benz. The luxury supercar is known as the Oakley Design Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG Carbon Edition, which was seen in Paris. The luxury supercar from Mercedes-Benz was sitting beside a Ferrari 458 Italia, another impressive luxury supercar. The main difference between the SLS AMG wrapped in chrome and another car wrapped in chrome is the fact that the SLS AMG looked impressive in chrome.

The chrome on the luxury supercar appeared brushed and it did shine out too bright when light reflected on it. But, it may be possible that its non-reflective characteristic was mainly because it was cloudy when the pictures were taken. Whatever the case may be, the chrome-wrapped Oakley Design Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG still appeared exceptionally impressive.

The chromed-wrapped SLS AMG was also given a carbon fiber aero kit made up of a unique front spoiler, side skirts, rear wing, and roof scoop. The distinctive rear diffuser of the luxury supercar matches its front splitter.

The Oakley Design Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG is also available together with a power kit that increased its power output to 640HP.
