Mercedes SLS AMG with Akrapovic Exhaust Seen in Nürburgring
Giancarlo Perlas May 15, 2014Akrapovic, a famous manufacturer of exhausts for motorcycles and four-wheel vehicles, has recently fitted a Mercedes SLS AMG with its signature product. The result was a louder than stock sound for the Mercedes SLS AMG car.
The work of the Slovenian manufacturer and tuner was showcased at the Gran Turismo Events in the Nürburgring race track. Given that the car already has a 6.3-liter V8 engine with astounding noise, it was further amplified with the Akrapovic exhaust.
In the video posted by NM2255 Car HD Videos in YouTube, which can be watched above, the enhanced noise of the Mercedes SLS AMG with Akrapovic modification can be likened with the noise of the previous F1 cars at full speed. Then, its sound at low speeds is somewhat similar to low growl or purr of a huge predatory hunter stalking its prey.
Mercedes SLS AMG Specs
