Daimler Relaunches TECHNICITY Online Magazine
Ryan Joseph Ramos May 20, 2013Daimler has relaunched its TECHNICITY online magazine, which now features a new ‘conceptual, graphic, and technical realisation’ and has been developed for optimized viewing no matter which device or computer the digital publication is accessed from.
The magazine can be viewed via technicity.daimler.com, and you can count on the fact that the look of the page will be suited to the type of device you’re using, be it your smartphone, your tablet, or your desktop computer. Right now, we think the default language is German, so you’d have to scroll down to toggle the English version of the site (or just visit this link: http://technicity.daimler.com/en/).
In addition, there is an ‘integrated multifilter’ that allows for the streamlining of the ‘content stream’ depending on the relevant topic. There are topic clusters, which can be found via the tabs near the top of the page. These tabs include ‘Clean’, ‘Safe’, ‘Connected’, ‘Urban’, and ‘Visionary’. There’s a flexible navigation setup to make browsing through the site’s contents much easier and to allow for a more personalized experience for the end user.
There is also a corresponding print version that has three annual editions, in English as well as in German.
From Daimler:
TECHNICITY combines important perspectives and trends from the Daimler research and development locations with topics not specific to the company. Urban mobility solutions, corporate technology and innovation processes as well as creativity and innovation trends in science, research and development are placed in a global context.
