A-Class Launching in India Pushes Through, Prices of the New Car Revealed

In a follow up report, the A-Class hatchback is finally lunched in India. According to the India-based The Economic Times, the debut of the new class in the country took place in a Mumbai showroom. The price of the new car is at Rs 21.93 lakh (approximately $39,000) up to Rs 22.73 lakh (estimated as $40,000).

The most fuel efficient in the variant is the one equipped with 2.2-liter diesel engine, which is priced Rs 21.93 lakh. Mercedes-Benz India claims that the car can go as far as 20.6 kilometers per liter. Then, the 1.6 petrol version, the A 180 Sport, costs Rs 22.73 lakh, with a 15 kilometers per liter consumption.
