Geneva Event Launches The Mercedes-Benz A45 AMG Edition 1
Peter Parcon March 5, 2013The Mercedes-Benz A45 AMG Edition 1 was introduced recently in Geneva by the luxury vehicle manufacturer. The event was graced by American singer and songwriter Usher, who took the car for a spin.
The event in Switzerland unveiled the Edition 1 model of the vehicle, which features a number of aesthetic modifications including a steering wheel encased in Nappa leather, Edition 1 emblems and AMG Performance seats . This particular model will be offered for twelve months only.
The Mercedes-Benz A45 AMG Edition 1 will come with a turbo-charged 2.0 engine that offers 360HP (265kW) of power and torque reaching 450Nm (332lb-ft). The aerodynamic design will feature a bigger front splitter, extra front apron flics and a rear wing. It will also come with nineteen-inch black alloy wheels that has a red cap in the center and 235/35 R19 tires.
In addition to the Mercedes-Benz A45 AMG Edition 1, the event also showed the Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG Coupe Black Series, the C63 AMG Edition 507, the E63 AMG S-Model, and the CLS 63 AMG Shooting Brake S-Model.
The market launch is set for June this year in Germany, but some countries, such as Australia, can expect to see it on their market not before September.
