Tobey Maguire Says No to a Mercedes-Benz

What if you’ve been handed keys to a new Mercedes-Benz? I bet you would be ecstatic! Not Tobey Maguire, the actor who played Spiderman. He reportedly declined and got a little upset that the Mercedes-Benz he was given for personal use when he was in Australia while filming the Great Gatsby movie, has leather seats.
Maguire was voted the world’s sexiest vegetarian in 2002. He got the thumbs up from PETA or the People for Ethical Treatment of Animals and with that, he embraced a “no leather” lifestyle. Thus, Bazmark Films, took the car back to the dealer and asked them to replace the upholstery with vinyl.
