A six wheel off-roader has been released by Mercedes-Benz in the form of the G63 AMG which we featured earlier. The design is based on the vehicles that the German automaker has supplied the army over the years.
Based on Fox News, new 6×6 has a massive weight of 8,300 pounds. It features a pickup bed attached into its cabin to handle the extra axle, an overall of five locking mechanisms, beadlock wheels and compressed air system for the remote adjustment of tire pressures. The output of the dual-turbocharged V8 engine goes up to 536HP with 561 lb-ft of torque. The overall features of this monster will enable it to conquer any terrain with ease.
There is no word yet about its fuel consumption. Also, the price is not yet announced. But according to Autocar, Mercedes-Benz G-class development head Axel Harries implies that it would be the second most expensive unit of the brand next to the SLS Electric Drive. This makes it another luxury car and not for army use.
