What will you get if you try to race a Mercedes E63 AMG sedan that was modified by Renntech to achieve an 850 hp output? A nice view of the extremely-upgraded Mercedes’ rear.
This is exactly what the drivers of the BMW M6, Audi TT RS, and Chevrolet Corvette ZR1 got when they challenged the Renntech-modified Mercedes into a drag race in a Russian event.
The said Mercedes E63 AMG had its 5.5-liter V8 engine tuned up with the Stage VIP kit of Renntech. The package of the tuner enabled the car to increase its standard output from 557 HP to a whopping 850 HP.
However, one should not discount the packages of the competing cars as well. The BMW M6 coupe received a Stage 2 tuning from PP-Performance. The PP-Performance upgrade stretched the standard 560 HP output of the M6 to a breathtaking 720 HP.
Then, the Audi TT RS coupe was tinkered by Revo Technik and fitted with a Stage 3 kit to boost its engine output to 530 HP. It should be noted that the Audi had put up the best fight against the Merc during the event.
The last to eat dust in the onslaught of the Renntech-tuned Mercedes E63 AMG was the Chevrolet Corvette ZR1 modded by IPS Motorsports. This one had the same output as the Mercedes. However, it was still left behind by the Merc all the way to the finish line.
