The popular aftermarket tuning firm Vath recently revealed its new package for the smallest SUV of Mercedes-Benz. The specific model that benefits from its latest tuning kit is the Mercedes GLA200.
The package focuses on giving the engine of the compact SUV a subtle boost in power. Then, it comes with a couple of performance enhancements.
Going under the hood of the Mercedes GLA 200, Vath offers its 1.6-liter turbocharged petrol-powered engine some extra kicks through some tinkering with its ECU. From the original 154 hp and 250 Nm of torque of the SUV, it is raised to 181 hp and 310 Nm of torque. This will cost customers 1,050 euros including the mounting.
Mercedes GLA200 owners can further add around five to eight percent in the horsepower to their vehicle by availing the steel sports exhaust system of the tuner. The addition will set customers back by an extra 1,940 euros, which already includes the installation.
Next is the high-performance braking system of Vath costing 590 euros including mounting. An extra 1,114 euros will also get the customer a new set of 18-inch black alloy rims automatically installed by the specialists of the tuning firm.
Overall, the tuning kit, including the labor provided by Vath in the installation of the upgrades, will set back the buyer a total of 4,694 euros.
