Mercedes-Benz USA Puts Renewed Focus on AMG Models

Mercedes-Benz USA recently revealed its new plan regarding its AMG cars. According to USA Today, company CEO Steve Cannon told journalists at the Quail Motorsports Gathering held last weekend that they are pushing for a change in their approach when it comes to selling models bearing the badge of its performance division. Cannon said that the company currently encourages its dealerships to showcase the AMG units apart from the standard Mercedes models. He pointed out that the high performance cars should be placed on a separate area in their showrooms. According to the source, the car was spied while being hauled by a flatbed truck in China. However, it is noticeable in the photos that the background of the car was blurred out to give highlight only to the subject of the picture.
