Mercedes AMG Petronas Formula One Team continues to keep its 2017 drivers lineup a mystery. Is it also possible that the group hadn’t signed up a replacement for Nico Rosberg yet? Recently, Mercedes F1 asked Renault Sport F1 and Sahara Force India F1 if they had drivers to spare in an unusual way via social media. From consistently complaining about the continuous dominance of Mercedes-AMG Petronas in Formula One, Infinity Red Bull Racing might split up after the 2015 season. Early last month, it was revealed that Red Bull was considering a switch to the winning engine, that is going for Mercedes-AMG power units for its race cars. The third generation of smart cars have been caught on video during a recent testing. These are fruits of the partnership forged between Mercedes-Benz and Renault. Daimler, Renault Working on New Large Van?

According to a report on Bloomberg, Daimler is in talks with Renault on a possible cooperation for a new large van model, yet another instance of the existing pact between the two automakers. A Daimler spokeswoman, Uta Leitner, has confirmed from Stuttgart that there are discussions with Renault, but that these are “early talks.” Raluca Barb, speaking for Renault, has also confirmed that there have been talks, and she added that there are still decisions to make, particularly where production sites are concerned.
