Daimler Remain Firm on Their Stand Against Using the New Coolant
We have featured an article here before about Daimler refusing to adopt the R-1234yf refrigerant for their new cars for 2013 which was mandated by the European Union. According to the UK-based news portal called Daily Mail, the parent company of Mercedes-Benz still refuses to install the new air conditioning coolant. The company insists that the tendency of the car engine to catch fire is high when the chemicals present in the coolant and air conditioning compressor oil mixes with the engine.
