Mercedes-Benz And Nio Deny Rumors Of Collaboration
Previously, we have reported about Mercedes-Benz and Nio allegedly in talks about a potential partnership. Once again, the German automaker and Chinese electric vehicle (EV) manufacturer denied the rumors. The Alleged Talks Earlier this year, reports surfaced suggesting that Nio founder and CEO William Li had initiated discussions with Mercedes-Benz CEO Ola Kaellenius. These discussions were said to revolve around the possibility of Mercedes investing in Nio and, in return, gaining access to the Chinese startup’s research and development capabilities.
