This Beijing Auto BJ100 Uses the Mercedes GLK Platform

Would you believe that the mammoth Sport Utility Vehicle above, called the Beijing Auto BJ100, was based from the China-made Mercedes GLK? According to CarNewsChina, the chiseled vehicle was indeed based from our beloved SUV with the three-pointed star logo. The BJ100 debuted at the 2014 Beijing Auto Show in its concept form. The targeted production of the SUV is next year. The source claimed this abomination was made by Beijing Auto, and its platform utilized the one used by the Mercedes GLK that is manufactured in China by Beijing-Benz. Next-Gen Mercedes GLK Spy Shots Revealed

A new spy shot by WorldCarFans revealed a new Mercedes-Benz vehicle that could very well be the next-generation GLK.  The vehicle’s large frame easily gives away its model. Larger and More Sporty A few months ago, Mercedes introduced the 2014 GLA which was also crossover. In order to be distinct from it, the Mercedes GLK spy shots show that it will carry with it a larger size. GLK Started Production in Bremen

The GLK was one of the most anticipated Mercedes-Benz models since it was launched at the New York International Auto Show last April. Because of its great interior and new equipment options, car enthusiasts became excited over the compact SUV. The Updated Mercedes GLK Officially Presented

There had been lots of spy photos of the Mercedes GLK in the past. Now, the blogging world is ready to share the full details of the car’s update. The changes are not really major, nor subtle. For example, the exterior got a new front fascia, unique tail lights, redesigned highlights with LED and a dual exhaust system located in the lower rear fascia. China-Made GLK to be Produced on Monday

After Daimler and BAIC’s agreement to expand their partnership in China with more projects, Mercedes- Benz announced that the first China-made GLK SUV will be rolled off in the Beijing Plant on Monday.
