Mercedes F1 Car Wins Goodwood Handicap Race
The Mercedes F1 car, the W04 driven by the present World Champion Lewis Hamilton during his entry with Mercedes-AMG Petronas in 2013, made an appearance in the 73rd Members’ Meeting held at Goodwood Motor Racing Circuit. The race car didn’t only show off its amazing architecture, but it also competed against its fellow Mercedes cars in a handicap race. The Mercedes F1 car was pitted against the Mercedes-Benz W190 300 SEL AMG, also known as the “Red Pig”. The classic auto is popular for finishing second in the 24 Hours of Spa back in 1971.
