Mercedes-Benz Vans has sent four teams to the Rallye Aïcha des Gazelles 2016 in Morocco, the world’s only off-road event exclusive to women. A total of 160 teams have entered for this year’s rally, which will last 10 days in Southern Morocco’s deserts. Each team, as in your standard rallies, is made up of two individuals. If you think that the Mario Kart 8-themed ad of the Mercedes-Benz GLA was hideous enough, this ad would probably top it off in terms of weirdness. The 2015 Mercedes-Benz Vito panel van was finally unveiled by Mercedes-Benz, according to a report from worldcarfans.com. The upcoming mid-size van draws it inspiration for the 2014 V-Class. It is expected to come in numerous configurations The latest model of the Vito offers a cargo capacity of 1,369 kilograms and is available in both a rear-wheel drive configuration and front-wheel drive configuration. It is also longer than the previous generation by at least 140 millimeters. The maximum height of the latest van offering of the luxury vehicle manufacturer is at 1910 millimeters. 620 Mercedes-Benz Vans Ordered by Avis Budget Group

The Avis Budget Group, a car rental company in Southern Europe, has just placed an order for a whopping 620 Mercedes-Benz Vans, which include orders for Vito, Viano, and Sprinter models. After its wins in the Motoring Matters Awards and the Van Fleet Awards, a couple of the division’s offerings grabbed awards from a specialist jury at the 2013 Courier, Express and Parcel Services Van of the Year competition that’s hosted by the Stuttgart-based ETM-Verlag publishing company. Fujian Benz Opens Product Dev Center in China

Fujian Benz Automotive Corporation, a joint venture between Daimler and a number of Chinese partners that focus on van production, recently opened up a brand-new product development center in Fuzhou, China. Mercedes-Benz Vans chief Volker Mornhinweg noted that the opening of the facility is a significant milestone in the division’s growth strategy, dubbed ‘Vans goes global’.
