Its interior does not fall behind its appealing exterior too, thanks to its high-class upholstery plus high-tech gizmo. On the other hand, going under its hood will reveal a fine automotive engineering masterpiece in the form of a brutal 4.0-liter biturbo engine, which is a step up from the one found in the Mercedes-AMG GT S. It is expected to give off up to 550 hp. While Mercedes hasn’t revealed a plan for the Shooting Brake variant of the car, and it is unlikely in the current C-Class Coupe lineup that such… Continue Reading »

Performmaster Gives the Mercedes-AMG C63 S Estate 612HP

The Mercedes-AMG C63 S Estate already packs quite a kick in its V8 engine. But seeing more room for improvement, car tuner Performmaster gave it 102 hp more with an additional 141 Nm in its torque. The stock configuration of the C63 S Estate’s 4.0-liter biturbo engine already gives off 510 hp similar to the Mercedes-AMG GT S. Then it also offers 700 Nm of torque. These enable it to accelerate from zero to 62 mph in just 4.1 seconds, and build up an electronically-limited speed of 155 mph, or up to 174 mph with the optional AMG Driver’s Package. Mercedes Formula One Team Wins Its Second Constructors’ Title

The recent Formula One Grand Prix definitely showed us an action-packed event in Sochi Autodrom along the coastal area of Mother Russia. The conclusion of the race saw Lewis Hamilton emerging victorious. Then after the fog of war was cleared, his team, Mercedes-AMG Petronas was also declared the Constructors’ Champion for the 2015 season. Initially, the Mercedes Formula One Team fell short of the points it needed to bag the Constructors’ crown following the race. That was after Nico Rosberg had an early exit from the competition due to a problematic throttle, which earned him no points at all. It was a result of Ferrari’s Sebastian Vettel finishing second and it’s other driver Kimi… Continue Reading »

Street Version of the Mercedes-AMG GT3 Spotted in Spain

The road-allowed version of the over-the-top Mercedes-AMG GT3 was recently spotted while undergoing testing in Spain. The prototype was under a heavy camo, but it was easily recognizable due to its curves and visible exterior components like the air intakes on its sides, exhaust tips, diffuser, grille, headlamps and wheels. The bulges in its lip spoiler, slope of its roofing, hood shape, and its overall length also bear a striking resemblance to the Mercedes-AMG GT. However, there were some noticeable updates in the car compared to the standard GT. One of them is the fixed rear wing. The fenders look wider too. Furthermore, there appears to be something protruding a bit on the sides of its… Continue Reading »
