New Mercedes-AMG E63 S Could Get Up to 603 Hp

After seeing some spy photos of the upcoming Mercedes-AMG E63, leaked documents from Russia recently gave us an idea about what to expect from its power unit. Looking at the leaked images, they appear to have come from a Mercedes-Benz brochure as the glare of a camera flash can be observed in the images. According to a German car forum online, the E63 will get as much as 563 hp and 553 lb-ft of torque. That’s a significant leap compared to the pure sports car of AMG—the GT and its S model. Good news Mercedes-Benz fans and potential customers! After getting teased with spy photos of the Mercedes-AMG GLC63 and Mercedes-AMG GLC63 Coupe, AMG boss Tobias Moers officially confirmed that the mentioned units are already under development. He added that the vehicles will be equipped with “Drift Mode.” What is the Drift Mode For? Details about the new Drift Mode function is scarce. Will there be a Mercedes-Maybach E-Class? Rumors, spy shots and a new video suggest that the three-pointed star marque might be working on the ultra-luxurious variant of the E-Class. YouTube user walkoART recently posted a short video of a camouflaged variant of the E-Class. What makes it interesting is that the E-Class has a longer wheelbase than the standard. Mercedes-Benz USA Sales Went Down 3% in Q1

Mercedes-Benz USA just released its sales report for the month of March. According to the press release of company, it sold 28,164 luxury vehicles in the month that just ended. The figures tally up for a total of 75,769 for the first quarter of the year. Overall, the first quarter Mercedes-Benz USA sales went down by three percent compared to the same period in 2015. Outside the luxury car and SUV variants of Mercedes, the Smart brand was able to sell 479 units. Mercedes vans displayed record sales of 3,072 in March showing an increase of 29.1 percent based on a year-on-year comparison.
