Monk Splurged on $3M Worth of Mercedes-Benz Cars Over 2-year Span
In what would look like the direct opposite to what Pope Francis and a Colombian priest have done recently, ‘jet-setting’ monk Luang Pu Nenkham bought no less than 22 Mercedes-Benz vehicles in a period covering 2009 to 2011, amounting to a total of 95 million baht, which is roughly $3.05 million based on today’s exchange rates.
