Mercedes-AMG One Lets It Rip at the Goodwood Festival of Speed

The Mercedes-AMG One recently proved why it’s worth its $2.8 million price tag. During the Goodwood Festival of Speed, the hypercar demonstrated its performance at the traditional hill climb of the event, and it sure left quite an impression on the audience. The AMG One is highlighted by its Formula 1-inspired build from the design down to the power specs. It uses a 1.6-liter turbo V6 partnered with four electric motors for a hybrid setup. Mercedes-Benz is celebrating 125 years of its involvement in motorsports. Therefore, the company is gracing the upcoming Goodwood Festival of Speed with its classic sports cars, and it will be highlighted by the Mercedes-Benz SSKL Avus racing car. An epic journey was completed by the Mercedes-Benz E300 BlueTEC Hybrid as it travelled from the African continent all the way to the United Kingdom with a single tank of fuel, a report from worldcarfans.com revealed recently. Behind the wheel of the standard model of the E300 was Andrew Frankel. The luxury hybrid vehicle averaged 3.1 liters for every 73.6 miles or 100 kilometers during its non-stop journey. The adventure started in Tangier, North Africa and the British journalist travelled across two continents before reaching the Goodwood Festival of Speed. Goodwood Festival of Speed to Honor History of Mercedes-Benz Racing
