Mercedes-AMG unleashes its newest creation. Recently, the performance brand of Daimler released photos and information about the all-new Mercedes-AMG GLC 43 4MATIC. According to the Global Media Site of Daimler, it is the first mid-size SUV produced by the Affalterbach-based factory. The Mercedes-AMG GLC 43 4MATIC houses a handcrafted 3.0-liter biturbo V6 engine. The engine, also found in the Mercedes-AMG C 43 Coupe and its Cabriolet version, certainly makes up for the power deficiency present in the standard GLC’s 2.1-liter diesel engine. The Mercedes-Benz GLC is now available in China. According to the CarNewsChina website, the price range of the SUV is at 396,000 and 579,000 yuan or $62,000 to $90,580. This GLC is locally-made by Beijing-Benz, a joint venture between Beijing Automotive Group and Daimler AG, wherein the companies own 50% each in its shares. It should be noted that the company used to make the GLK, the GLC’s predecessor, as well as the GLA.
