Mercedes-Benz GLC F-Cell To Be Launched In 2017

The Mercedes-Benz GLC F-Cell is set to be introduced by the luxury vehicle manufacturer by 2017, as shown on a worldcarfans.com report. Plans for the hydrogen variant of the GLC were revealed by Thomas Weber, the head of research and development of Mercedes-Benz, when he was interviewed by Autocar. Weber added the engineering parameters of the vehicle were already finalized and its introduction into the market may come in the next two years. The launch of the car is planned at the Frankfurt Auto Show in September 2017 and will become available in the market by 2018. A 2016 Mercedes-Benz GLC was recently given away as a grand prize at an event in Dubai. The event was called the Mercedes-Benz Detour 2015. It was held on October 30, and was joined by Mercedes enthusiasts in the United Arab Emirates who were at least 21 years old. Based on the tweet of Gargash Enterprises, an authorized distributor of Mercedes-Benz in Dubai, Sharjah & Northern Emirates, the guys belonging to Team #33 of the event were able to bag the coveted GLC. New spy photos of the 2016 Mercedes-Benz GLC Coupe made it online again. The pictures from Autocar show the SUV with partial camouflage, hiding its bumper and the rear portion starting from the auto’s C-pillar—similar to the ones we have seen before. Even after the unveiling of the standard GLC, it is quite puzzling why the headlights and front bumper of the GLC Coupe remain hidden from plain sight. New spy shots of the upcoming Mercedes-Benz GLC Coupe recently surfaced. Based on how little camouflage it had in the released photos, the next compact SUV of the three-pointed star brand definitely looks ready for the big leagues. Mercedes-Benz has been very busy in refreshing and expanding its SUV lineup lately. Recently, there were a lot of rumors saying that it might add another SUV convertible model in the future.   After successfully unveiling the Mercedes-Benz GLC, the three-pointed star marque confirmed that the range will also get a Coupe version according to Automotive News. The Mercedes-Benz GLC Coupe will be getting hybrid and performance variants too. With the standard GLC scheduled to go on sale in mid-November this year, its coupe version is planned to be rolled out in dealerships by next year. No exact date was revealed for its sale though.
