The Mercedes-Benz G-Class has retained the same formula in terms of design over decades. The iconic sport utility vehicle of the three-pointed star brand has kept its classic boxy body and almost the same styling introduced in the original G-Wagen 460 series of the late 70s. The Mercedes-Benz G-Class range is reportedly losing three of its models in the near future. On their way to the chopping block are the Mercedes-Benz G350d Professional, Mercedes-AMG G65, and the Mercedes-Benz G500 4×4². According to MB Passion Blog, the move of the German automaker aims to streamline the G-Class lineup. The source claimed that the luxury brand is gearing to release a new model next year. Mansory Tunes the Mercedes-Benz G500 4×4 Squared

Early this month, we have witnessed the work of Brabus with the Mercedes-Benz G500 Squared or the Mercedes-Benz G500 4×42. Not to be outdone, German tuning firm Mansory also did the same to the vehicle. Mansory chose the sky blue version of the Mercedes-Benz G500 4×42 to highlight its new G-Class package. The upgrade provided a boost in the iconic SUV’s engine plus some cosmetic changes in both its exterior and interior. Mansory retained the 4.0-liter biturbo V8 engine of the G500 4×42. However, the tuner increased the output of the G-Class by 62 hp. So from the standard 416 hp produced by the SUV, the specialist cranked up the numbers to a total of 478 hp.
