Daimler Boss Says No One Will Make Money on Electric Cars Yet

The Mercedes-Benz B-Class Electric Drive is now on sale, which received good reviews from critics. However, if money matters were to be considered, Daimler CEO Dr. Dieter Zetsche does not seem to be so confident about electric cars as of the moment. Mercedes-Benz CLA Remains the Company’s Best-Seller in U.S.

The Mercedes-Benz CLA remains as the three-pointed star marque’s best-selling luxury vehicle in the U.S. However, the supply for the variant remains tight. Daimler boss Dr. Dieter Zetsche himself said that they could have sold twice as many vehicles easily if it weren’t for supply constraints. Mercedes-Benz confirmed that Michael Schumacher remains as its ambassador. The decision of the company came despite the current medical condition of the Formula One legend. It should be noted that Schumacher had an accident while skiing with his son at Meribel Ski Resort in the French Alps on December 29, 2013.
