The German luxury automaker had notable releases, which included the Mercedes-Benz S-Class Coupe, plus the Mercedes-AMG GT and GT S, to name a few. Then, it achieved another major milestone in its sporting history by winning the Formula One Constructors’ Championship, and its driver, Lewis Hamilton, bagged the F1 World Title this year. Following the impressive win of Mercedes AMG Petronas in the Formula One Russian Grand Prix, the three-pointed marque finally got its hand on the most-coveted constructors’ championship. It should be noted that it is the first time for Mercedes to achieve the title since joining F1. To celebrate the important milestone in the sporting history of the German brand, the top brass of the company decided to release a total of £7 million to be distributed to its 700 employees in its Brackley facility, according to The Telegraph.
