Cigarette Racing Team Teases New Boat Based on Mercedes-AMG GT3

Cigarette Racing Team has had strong ties with Mercedes-AMG over the years. We have seen several of its performance boats which were inspired by the likes of the Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG, Mercedes-Benz C63 AMG Black Series, Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG Electric Drive, and the Mercedes-AMG GT S. Recently, Cigarette Racing Team teased the new speedboat it is developing. According to Carscoops, it will be called as the 41′ SD GT3. As the rendering found in the photo above and the name of the boat implies, it is based on the Mercedes-AMG GT3 race car. Cigarette Racing 50 Marauder GT S Concept Unveiled

A recent report from autoevolution.com revealed that Mercedes-AMG has unveiled the Cigarette Racing 50 Marauder GT S Concept together with Cigarette Racing during the Miami International Boat Show. The speed boat drew its inspiration form the Mercedes-AMG GT and was developed in collaboration with the high-performance speed boat manufacturer. The high-performance vessel features the best twin engine offered by Cigarette Racing and uses the Mercedes-AMG GT S as its inspiration. Due to this, the boat was given the unique AMG Solarbeam color along with the matte black highlights of the luxury supercar. Cigarette Racing has produced amazing racing boats over the years, which were inspired by Mercedes-AMG autos. This year, a recent sketch revealed that the boat racing team will be launching another Mercedes-inspired water-based vehicle. According to news sources, the racing boat will be called the Marauder GT S. The name and the sketch of the Cigarette Racing boat above show that the vehicle was inspired by the Mercedes-AMG GT S. The Marauder GT S will be unveiled on February 12 at the Miami International Boat Show. So far, the specs of the boat haven’t been disclosed yet. The Cigarette AMG Electric Drive is the product of the collaboration between Cigarette racing and Mercedes-Benz AMG, according to a report from mercedes-benz.co.uk. The combined expertise of the two companies resulted to the development of the most impressive electric-powered watercraft in the world. The engine of the thirty-eight-foot long boat can produce up to 3,000 Nm of torque and 2,220 HP of power. This allows the powerboat to produce enough electric power that allows it to reach speeds up to 160 km/h.
