CeBIT 2013: Mercedes-Benz Shows Off New Features of COMAND Online
At the 2013 CeBIT computer expo, Mercedes-Benz showcased the new features of its COMAND Online navigation system, which is able to provide real-time traffic information to the driver. Integrating new wireless networking technologies has helped Mercedes-Benz innovate the COMAND Online system. With the Mercedes-Benz Live Traffic system, cars will get on-the-dot traffic information comprised of traffic density, holdups, tailbacks, and even travel warnings. In order to support this in Germany, Deutsche Telekom is said to be developing communication infrastructure to serve the requirements of this system.
