London car2go to Expand Business Area in June
Car-sharing service car2go is set to expand its London business area come June, with the new business area covering 100 square miles to take effect in a few days. The London car2go service launched in December of last year, in Islington as well as Sutton. The service has expanded from the initial two boroughs to include large areas. There’s Croydon, Kingston, Raynes Park, Richmond, South Lambeth, Southwark, and Wimbledon. The service, however, will be suspended in Newham in order to focus on higher demand in other areas within London. The new business area will have 500 of these smart vehicles available on demand.
