Mercedes-Benz X-Class Given a Cosmetic and Performance Makeover

When the Mercedes-Benz X-Class was announced in 2015, everyone had high hopes in it, including yours truly. A year later, its concept was unveiled, which held a lot of promises. When its production version was finally unveiled though, it was a letdown for many because it didn’t stand out much from the Nissan Navara, which it shares a platform with and around 30% more affordable than the luxury pickup. We were still optimistic about it but before its promised higher-end trims were released, the product was axed from Mercedes’ production line. Despite its disappointing reviews and Daimler’s decision to end its production, the X-Class remained as a darling among tuners—probably… Continue Reading »

Meet the Mercedes-AMG GT 63 S Cummander (No, Typo Here)

Wheelsandmore recently released its new tuning package for the Mercedes-AMG GT 63 S. The company baptized it the Cummander (yes, you read it right). It does not take a stroke of genius to know that someone in the company has been browsing a lot of naughty stuff while being isolated at home during the pandemic. Just to confirm, we Googled the term and it is definitely for the green-minded. That was further confirmed by the people at the famous German aftermarket tuning firm. “The dirty, provocative naming of the Mercedes-AMG GT 63 has been chosen deliberately and flirts with the terms power and devotion ambiguously. With the use of the AMG… Continue Reading »

Brabus Mercedes-AMG G63 6×6 at $900,000 is an Amazing Find

A $900,000 price tag is no joke, but when you see a Mercedes-AMG G63 6×6 with that value, you are certainly in for a nice bargain. The vehicle is no longer in production and only 100 to 150 samples of it were ever made from the factory of the three-pointed star marque. Add to that the tuning package of famous German tuner Brabus and you are in for a real treat. The AMG G63 6×6 is currently priced around $1.5 million but one listing from Hollmann International, a dealership of exotic cars in Germany, listed it for only €800,000 (excluding taxes). Using the current exchange rates, that takes its cost… Continue Reading »
