The last time we saw the next-generation Mercedes-Benz B-Class, it was completely wrapped up in a zebra camouflage. However, thanks to a new spy video, we can now make out most of the crossover’s key exterior features.

The video above shows the upcoming B-Class being loaded on a trailer. The vehicle appears to have shed most of its body wraps in the video. It also got rid of the zebra-themed camo that obscured the body lines and bulges of the auto in the previous spy shots. Instead, each unit in the clip is now clad in a wrap that corresponds to the car’s paint finish.

From the exposed areas, we can see that the next B-Class still carries many styling elements found in its predecessor. There are hints of the A-Class in the design of the car too. It is as expected, after all, the B-Class and the A-Class share the same type of platform.

Among the noticeable differences between the upcoming B-Class and its predecessor are in the rear glass. The new B-Class adopts the same design found in the new A-Class with its rear window kinking up a bit to provide it more character. Trapezoidal exhaust tips can be seen as well.

If you pay more attention to the cars in the video, you could see that the two have differing front grille designs. The white one has a single-louver styling and the black one has two horizontal bars going across the radiator grille. This could only mean that we might be looking at the different trims of the B-Class. The black-painted version is possibly a high-performance variant of the auto under the AMG banner.
