Mercedes C-Class is the Best-Seller of the Mercedes-Benz Brand
According to a report from the media page of Daimler’s website, the Mercedes C-Class is its best-seller in the vehicle range so far. It stated that it has sold C-Class saloon, estate and coupe to over 2.2 million customers since 2007.
Olla Kallenius, member of the Divisional Board Mercedes-Benz Cars Marketing & Sales, attributed the success of the Mercedes C-Class to the innovations it has presented in terms of technology, comfort, ecology, luxurious appeal and spaciousness. He stated that the variant forms a vital part of their 2020 growth strategy.
On the other hand, Kellenius explained that the Mercedes GLA is integral in expanding their SUV range. The GLA’s emotionally appealing feature is what gives it the edge in the market, he further said.
Production of the Mercedes C-Class and GLA-Class
The report mentioned that the production of the C-Class is held in four major locations divided among the four continents of the globe. The plants for the C-Class are located in Bremen (Germany), East London (South Africa) Beijing (China) and Tuscaloosa (Alabama, USA). The GLA-Class is produced in Rastatt (Germany).
Pricing of the Mercedes GLA 45 AMG
As to the new GLA 45 AMG, its price starts at €55,870.50 according to the source. The Edition 1 of the model is sold for €63,248.50 it added.
