We all know Mercedes-Benz USA is uprooting from its current New Jersey headquarters to a new home in Sandy Springs, Atlanta, which is set to be completed sometime in 2018. Now, the company has provided us with a glimpse into what the new HQ will look like.
Well, the design looks clean and efficient, and the designers have likely included some green initiatives into the overall scheme as well. Just look at those windows and high ceilings, the trees surrounding the whole facility, and the wide open spaces (okay, most of that is parking lots, but still).
In addition, there don’t seem to be any fancy features based on this design, unless you count that one that looks like a dedicated car park building with a nice ramp going through the middle.
The move will cost money and will lead to the loss of personnel who aren’t willing to move, but the business environment is a lot better in Atlanta, which should help Mercedes-Benz make its operations more sustainable. According to MB USA CEO Steve Cannon, this is a 50-year move that will be key as the company moves forward.
Along with the incentives being given by the city, it should allow for a more prosperous Mercedes-Benz come 2018.
