While the interior cabin will be similar to the C63 Coupe, a number of enhancements may be made, including the switchgear used in controlling its retractable soft top and Airscarf seats.

The entry-level model of the C63 Convertible will feature a 4.0-liter V8 bi-turbo engine offering 469 HP of power and torque of 479 lb-ft. The 7-speed Speedshift MCT transmission system from AMG will facilitate the acceleration of the luxury convertible from 0 to 100 km/h within four seconds. On the other hand, the C63 S Convertible features an upgraded version of the V8 engine offering 503 HP and 516 lb-ft of power and torque, respectively.
