A new addition to the Mercedes-Benz C-Class family was recently revealed by Daimler. The new model is the 2017 Mercedes-AMG C 43 4MATIC Coupe.
The car bridges the gap between the standard Mercedes-Benz C-Class models and the range-topping Mercedes-AMG C63 Coupe. The car is supposed to sit in the AMG Sport line but since the said classification no longer exists, all the models under it have been absorbed into the Mercedes-AMG brand.
Outside, the C43 Coupe carries the signature styling of Mercedes-AMG. It is imbued with new light alloy wheels, air intakes, diamond meshes, silver chrome accents, silver diffuser, chrome tailpipes, black mirror caps, and diamond radiator grille complete with chrome-plated pins.
Customers can opt for the Night Package also if they want the heat-insulating dark tinted glass, glossy black front apron trim, sleek black diffuser, darkened tailpipes, and high-gloss black 7.5 x 18 and 8.5 x 18 wheels light alloy wheels for the front and back, respectively. The wheels come wrapped in 225/45 R 18 tyres in front and 245/40 R 18 tyres in the rear.
Inside, the car can be adorned with ARTICO leather or DINAMICA microfiber upholstery. Then the stitchings, seat belts and floor mats are designed to complement the sporty exterior of the auto.
Lastly, opening up the hood of the Mercedes-AMG C 43 4MATIC Coupe reveals a 3.0-liter biturbo V6 engine capable of producing up to 367 hp and 520 Nm of torque. The unit allows the car to sprint from zero to 100 km/h in just 4.7 seconds, and reach an electronically-limited maximum speed of 250 km/h.
