Lumma Design recently unveiled their latest conversion program for the Mercedes-AMG G63 called the “Lumma CLR G770”, and its nothing short of amazing. The iconic Mercedes sports utility vehicle does not only get a new look from the specialist but it also comes with an engine tune that significantly raises its power.
Exterior
The Lumma Design Mercedes-AMG G63 is highlighted by its six exhaust tips, which are evenly placed on the custom side aprons of the SUV. It should be noted that the stock configuration of the auto only has quadruple exhausts.
Adding to its radical appearance is its hood scoop with three air inlets on each side. Moreover, the vehicle features a set of LED lights on its roof, Lumma’s signature bumpers, new radiator grille frame and large rear diffuser.
The G-Class is made more imposing by its extended wheel arches that add 1.57 inches to its width compared to its fresh-from-the-factory version. The fenders house the huge wheels of the auto that measure 24 inches each.
Interior
Lumma only offers subtle changes within the cabin of the AMG G63. These include the company’s signature floormats and aluminum pedal set.
Power
Under the hood of the Mercedes-AMG G63 is a 4.0-liter biturbo V8 engine. The original 577 hp of the SUV is pushed by Lumma to 642 hp. Meanwhile, the torque of the vehicle is also increased, so it’s now at 950 Nm.
The tuner didn’t tell us about how quick is the new Lumma CLR G770. However, we expect its 0-96 km/h acceleration to be faster than the standard AMG G63’s 4.4 seconds. On the other hand, its top speed should be more than the 240 km/h rate of the auto’s unadulterated version.
