Since becoming the official contractual partner of Mercedes-Benz, Hofele has been busier than ever in its tuning works. One of the recent packages of the specialist is the stunning Mercedes-AMG G63 with its signature package displayed at the new “Car Lounge” of Autowelt Schweiz in Zurich, Switzerland.
Autowelt Schweiz is the Swiss region’s leading provider of premium vehicles. It also engages in services including portfolio management, vehicle enhancement, and vehicle financing. The new Car Lounge of the company is intended to serve as its luxury concept showroom and display center.
The Hofele Mercedes-AMG G63 is the first model to be displayed at the new Autowelt Car Lounge. The SUV features a matte Designo Night Black Magno exterior with black carbon accents. It comes with a new front grille with vertical slats, front bumper, roof light bar, bonnet power dome, electrically retractable stepping boards, wheel arches, 23-inch turbine-inspired forged alloy wheels, and “H” emblem replacing the three-pointed star logo.
Going inside the Hofele AMG G63 reveals a bespoke interior in brown Nappa leather. The leather seat covers are adorned with perforated patterns, special stitching, and Alcantara. A Star Light ceiling further elevates the mood in the cabin of the SUV.
The upgrades of Hofele are merely cosmetic but it sure does a great job in enhancing the already iconic appeal of the G-Class. Under its hood is the stock 4.0-liter twin-turbo V8 engine of the Mercedes-AMG G63 good for 577 hp and 627 lb-ft of torque. The output goes to the SUV’s 4MATIC all-wheel-drive system and is distributed via a nine-speed automatic transmission. The configuration allows the auto to accelerate from 0 to 60 mph in just 4.5 seconds.
