Hofele Design Pimps Up the Iconic Mercedes-AMG G63 SUV

Hofele Design never fails to impress with its bespoke designs. Among our favorites are its works on the Mercedes-Benz G-Class because of the way they strike a balance between the elements of luxury and sporty while retaining all the iconic pieces of the SUV that have made it quite a darling for auto enthusiasts and buyers alike over the years.

Recently, the famous German aftermarket tuner released another one-off package for the Mercedes-AMG G63 for a customer. Called the HG63 “Limitless”, it provides the SUV a unique styling element that makes it further stand out from its standard Benz and AMG versions.

The exterior of the HG63 is highlighted by its Citrine Brown Magno body paint courtesy of the G Manufaktur personalization program of Mercedes. It also includes carbon fiber inserts on the vehicle’s “Power Dome” bonnet, door handles, roof LED light bar, and air vents behind the wheel arches. These are topped off by the company’s signature “H” logos, and a set of 24-inch cross-spoke forged alloy wheels in Grey Shadow Gloss finish.

Going inside reveals an upholstery populated with Mandarin Orange Nappa leather and Alcantara. Further intensifying the high-performance G-Class interior design are unique diamond stitching patterns on the seats and door panels plus more carbon fiber components.

Hofele’s upgrades are merely cosmetic, but knowing that the 4.0-liter twin-turbo V8 engine of the Mercedes-AMG G63 already produces 577 hp and 627 lb-ft of torque, that should be more than enough. All that power goes to a 4MATIC all-wheel-drive system and is distributed via a nine-speed automatic transmission system. The setup lets the SUV sprint from 0 to 60 mph in only 4.5 seconds.
