Hofele Design Enhances the Look of the Mercedes-AMG GLE 53 Coupe

After the successful launch of its first body kit for the Mercedes-Benz GLE Coupe in the middle of 2020, Hofele Design follows it up with its Mercedes-AMG GLE 53 Coupe model. The new project of the German tuning specialist gives the high-performance sport utility vehicle a sportier and more luxurious look.

What keeps the new Hofele Design AMG GLE 53 Coupe apart from the modifications offered by other companies is the more organic integration of its customization package instead of the accessories looking merely as snap-ons. It starts with a two-tone paint finish, then its front grille is enhanced to give it a more opulent vibe, and its front bumper is revised to feature larger air intakes. The exterior is topped off with a set of 22-inch Mythos wheels.

Meanwhile, going inside reveals another two-tone styling in pepper red and black leather made of Nappa and Alcantara materials adorned with special stitching.

The new Hofele Design Mercedes-AMG GLE 53 Coupe costs €134,000 or $158,500 based on current exchange rates, which is double the $76,500 price of the SUV’s standard AMG version.

Although its maker is also known for its tuning works, it skipped on the actual tuning with this one. That means the vehicle retains its 3.0-liter turbocharged inline-six engine with EQ Boost that already provides a whopping total of 429 hp and 384 lb-ft of torque distributed via a nine-speed automatic transmission. All that takes the 5-seater from 0-62 mph in just 5.3 seconds.
