Four Reasons Why the Mercedes-Benz X-Class is This Blogger’s Choice

The Mercedes-Benz X-Class is here. So far, everything about it is nothing short of amazing.

It is ideal for everyday city drive and outdoor trips. That is why this is my personal pick for the best Mercedes to debut this 2017.

Here are the top four reasons why I love it:

1. Luxurious

If it’s quality that you are looking for, like the quality blogs that you see from guest posts at izideo, better turn your attention to the X-Class. While it is true that its stance is reminiscent of the Nissan Navara—as the two share the same platform and assembled at the same plant—it has managed to successfully distance itself from it and even carve its own niche under the luxury pickup truck segment of the market.

The area from the nose to the B-pillar of the X-Class possesses the elegant styling elements usually found in the SUVs of Mercedes. The grille, headlamps, bumper and body lines all carry the rich DNA of Mercedes.

2. High Functionality

Mercedes has successfully balanced utility with beauty in the X-Class. Five people can conveniently fit in the vehicle, including the driver.

While it does not have the same level of comfort and tech found in Mercedes road cars, the X-Class has struck a balance by sticking with the essentials of driving, safety, comfort and entertainment. Add to that its great carrying capacity in its rear bed plus excellent hauling capacity and you are in for a real treat.

3. Nice Driving Performance

The current X-Class carries a 2.2-liter twin-turbo diesel engine with 190 bhp and 450 Nm of torque. The power of the pickup is distributed to all of its four wheels via a seven-speed automatic gearbox. Its 0-62 acceleration is pretty decent at 11.8 seconds with a top speed of 109 mph. Then its fuel-efficiency is rated at 35.8 mpg and its C02 emission is only 207 g/km.

The numbers may mean that overtaking on the highway with the X-Class will require careful planning, but for a truck, that’s acceptable. The good news is that this year, the range will be joined by the X350 model with Mercedes’ 3.0-liter V6 engine with 255 bhp for a stronger performance.

4. Worth Your Money

The X-Class has a starting price of £27,310, excluding VAT. That makes it very affordable for a Mercedes premium vehicle that only came out in 2017.
